Our Biggest-Ever Cohort Graduates!
On Tuesday 9th August, we saw our biggest-ever Cohort (Cohort 9) of apprentices fly the nest and become Juice Academy graduates! Hosted at JW Lees’ Rain Bar, the space was filled with proud employers, parents, grandparents, partners and of course, our lovely group of qualified social media marketers!
In full graduation attire, the ceremony was opened with a welcome from Tangerine and Juice Academy Chair, Sandy Lindsay MBE, recalling key achievements and progress made by the Academy attendees over the past year, complete with Juice Academy certificates!
Stefan Price, who completed his social media apprenticeship with Ph. Creative in Liverpool and was selected by the group as Class Representative, gave a tear-jerking speech:
“…I joked just before about not being in £9k debt – but it’s true. For absolutely no cost to ourselves we’ve been given invaluable life lessons, experiences and most importantly, work experience, thanks to the guys at Tangerine. I couldn’t count on my hands how many guest speakers we’ve had, events we’ve got to attend and all round expert advice we’ve been given – I speak for all of us when I say this, we are truly grateful.”
“…We’ve all met some amazing people this year – I really do think we have made friends for life. We’re such a diverse group of people and I’m confident each and every one of us will go on to do great things"
How much difference one year makes!
Post-ceremony, everybody gathered for drinks, more photos galore and shared memories & #ProudMoments from the last 12 months. They even got to reflect on their physical change with personalised cupcakes! (Thanks to Hey Little Cupcake!)
We are so proud of our Cohort 9 team and wish them the best of luck in the next chapter of their career! We’d also like to say a massive thank you to the employers of Cohort 9 who have been so supportive of The Juice Academy and their apprentices. Without you, we would not be able to create quality jobs for young people!
