Night of Awards for Tangerine B2B

Leading integrated communications consultancy, Tangerine, is making room in its trophy cabinet following a night of successes. After attending two award ceremonies - The Social Buzz Awards and the Manufacturing Awards - Tangerine’s B2B team and its clients walked away with seven national accolades.

Firstly, the team picked up ‘Best B2B Sector Social Media Strategy/Campaign’ for its longstanding client, British Gypsum at the Social Buzz Awards which celebrate brands at the forefront of digital communications.

As part of its drive to ‘build better spaces to live, work and play’, British Gypsum has been working with Tangerine to revolutionise the way it communicates with customers, from architects to plasterers. The agencies integrated communications strategy has proved that social media channels - including Twitter (@BritishGypsum) and the brand’s In the Mix blog - can be used to engage B2B audiences in a meaningful way that measurably improves brand value and impact.

Sam Gregory, B2B MD, said: “Digital media continues to evolve, giving us an amazing opportunity to help brands communicate in much more creative and engaging ways, particularly in the B2B market. Done right, the combination of integrated, channel-neutral campaigns and relevant, shareable content has the power to not just reach audiences, but significantly influence their thinking and behaviour. This is something that we help all our clients to achieve and it’s terrific for the team to be recognised for the fantastic work they’ve been doing with British Gypsum.”

Tangerine is also celebrating six commendations at the prestigious Manufacturing Awards which recognise the strength and diversity of the UK manufacturing industry. The certificates were gained for the following clients in the following categories:

Croft Filters - Innovation and Design

Croft Filters - Small Business of the Year

Encirc - Young Manufacturer of the Year

Encirc - Supply Chain Excellence

Encirc - Sustainable Manufacturing
